Arsai Lavender Pure Olive Oil Bar Soap

Made freshly in Lebanon, our handmade Soap is cold pressed with the finest home grown olives. It deeply cleanses and purifies the skin, leaving it feeling refreshed, cleansed and moisturised.

Ingredients include: olive oil, coconut oil, castor oil, lye, distilled water, natural fragrance, dried lavender, lavender oil, mica based earth pigments.

Olive Oil is used in all our soaps as the main base and is harvested from our family-owned olive groves which date back between 1000 - 6000 years old and are adjacent to the Mediterranean Sea. The bar is 4oz roughly 110 grams.

Scent is fresh, floral, herbal, slightly sweet, with a subtle hint of earthiness much like a lavender flowering plant. This luxurious soap is infused with lavender for an invigorating sensation and aroma to give a unique sense of freshness. When used in soap, the lavender fragrance creates a serene and calm bathing experience. 

Why Dried Lavender? - Dried lavender offers several benefits for the skin due to its soothing, anti-inflammatory, and antioxidant properties. It can help calm irritated skin, reduce redness and itching, and promote healing. Additionally, lavender can help fight acne, moisturise dry skin, and protect against free radical damage. 

Why Lavender Oil? - Lavender oil offers several benefits for the skin due to its anti-inflammatory, antibacterial, and antiseptic properties. It can help soothe irritated skin, reduce redness and swelling, and potentially heal wounds faster. It's also known for its potential to combat acne, reduce the appearance of fine lines and wrinkles, and lighten hyper pigmentation. 

Why cold pressed? - Well, Cold processed soap is known for its mild and gentle cleansing properties, making it ideal for sensitive and dry skin. Unlike commercial soaps that often contain harsh detergents, cold process soap does not strip away the skin's natural oils.

Why Olive Oil? - MOISTURISING - Olive oil offers several benefits for the skin, including deep hydration, antioxidant protection, and anti-inflammatory properties It can help moisturise dry skin, reduce the appearance of wrinkles, and protect against sun damage. Olive oil also has antibacterial properties, which may help with wound healing and potentially reduce acne.

Why Coconut Oil? - CLEANSING - Coconut oil offers several potential benefits for the skin due to its moisturising, anti-inflammatory, and antimicrobial properties. It can help hydrate dry skin, reduce inflammation, and potentially aid in wound healing. It can be used as a gentle and effective makeup remover, breaking down even waterproof makeup.

Why Castor Oil? - LATHERING - Castor oil offers several potential benefits for the skin, including moisturising, anti-inflammatory, and antimicrobial properties, which can help with dry skin, acne, and wound healing. It's rich in ricinoleic acid, a fatty acid that can improve skin barrier function and potentially reduce the appearance of wrinkles and scars. 

Why Lye? - CONVERSION OF OILS TO SOAP - Specifically sodium hydroxide or potassium hydroxide, is a crucial ingredient in soap making because it facilitates the chemical reaction called saponification, which transforms oils and fats into soap.

Why Mica based Earth Pigments? - Mica-based earth pigments are natural mineral powder, derived from the mica mineral, that are ground into a fine powder. They are used to create shimmering or iridescent effects in various applications like cosmetics, paints, and soaps. Mica is a naturally occurring mineral that can be mined or created in a lab.
